BELTED GALLOWAY BEEF
REARED THE NATURAL WAY
BRED FOR GREAT
TASTE AND TENDERNESS
“To grow and raise the highest quality produce while giving a home to nature on our farm in the Yorkshire Wolds”
In the heart of the rolling Yorkshire Wolds a herd of Belted Galloway cattle roam deep chalk dales. This is the home of Morrell’s where a happy life for farm animals and wildlife is key to the family’s philosophy.
It is Morrell’s aim to produce the best tasting beef. Working closely with customers every detail has been thoughtfully considered from breed, feeding and butchering. Foremost of Morrell’s principles is that all the farm animals are treated gently & respectfully. Keeping the cattle stress free is shown in the tenderness of the meat.
The farmer, Richard Morrell, had a vision for the farm to be a beacon for wildlife and dedicated large areas for natural habitat. Skylark already flourish and can be seen bouncing around the sky with their song filling the air. Dedicated pollen areas are full of bees and butterflies throughout the summer and barn owls can be seen foraging along hedgerow margins during the evening.
